This year we are excited to introduce the Altman Advocacy Award honoring Jennifer Altman, Ph.D. This award has been created to acknowledge the impact that commitment and passion for change can have on an individual, a community and an organization.
Jennifer Altman is a Clinical Psychologist, with an established practice in Hastings on Hudson. She specializes in working with children, adolescents and families and she really loves her work. Jennifer is also a member of the GIWC Wise Women Council and previously served as a member of the Board of Directors and as Board Chair of Girls Inc. Westchester. She has produced two videos to showcase the work of GIWC in collaboration with Nammour Productions and has very much enjoyed working with girls and staff in support of the Girls Inc. mission. Previously, she served on the Hastings Youth Council, an organization providing community support in the form of educational and prevention programs.
Jennifer is a long-time resident of Westchester, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
