Founding Executive Director

In 2007, Sally Baker helped bring Girls Inc. to Westchester with a clear vision: every girl deserves the support, skills, and confidence to overcome obstacles and believe in her own potential. As the organization's founding executive director, she helped establish Girls Inc. Westchester to respond to the unique needs of girls across the county, particularly those who were not being reached by existing after school enrichment opportunities. Guided by the belief that girls thrive when they receive age appropriate support early and consistently, she helped lay the foundation for programs that empower girls to grow up strong, smart, and bold. Her leadership played an important role in shaping the organization's early mission and impact in Westchester County.
